The Goblin King

He is the keeper of the dark
Hear my words
As he walks by
Through his cold lair
Frowning maniacally
Eyes passing through shadows
Becoming one with them all
Chains litter the floor
Not inhibiting the man
He stalks through his cave
Shadowland approaching
Summerland just within reach
His pace increases
He does not want to return
But he knows he must
So he turns and faces the wind
Knowing it is inevitable to fight
Yet his heart refuses to move
Lying in the grasp of a woman
The woman with the power
Able to melt his golden heart
A simple touch
Her delicate hand on his flesh
Crushes his hard exterior
And reveals the light inside
The woman is unsure
Unwilling to give her heart
A quick fling never enough
Yet his love spurs her on
Soon he rheart is his
Goblin sheds to reveal man
Man moves to claim his woman
And a happily ever after
Born again from the flames.
