Complications.

so this is my first blog, sorry if it sucks. im sure ill get used to it though. so i guess ill just say what's on my mind right now.. so my mom's going away for the whole weekend and i made plans to have a couple people sleep over, my friend and her boyfriend and my boyfriend. now all of a sudden jarrett (my boyfriend) doesnt have a ride here. so it seems like im gonna be stuck as an awkward third wheel in my own house. like, he's going to a concert tonight but he cant come here, the only time we'll get this opportunity?
while im ranting about him sleeping over, something else came to mind. it really makes me mad that all parents think kids do is have sex. no boy/girl sleepovers? really? cause honestly what most kids would do sleeping over with their boyfriend or girlfriend is like watch tv or brows reddit together. seriously. and if they're going to have sex, then they arent gonna wait until a sleepover. i mean maybe they would, but it would happen anywhere at any time and not necessarily at a freaking sleepover together. not to mention how when parents make a big deal about it, it makes kids wanna do it more. sleeping over AND having sex. like drinking or doing drugs, everyone says that in europe since theres no drinking age, kids are more responsible and stuff. uh, whats different with sex? when jesus freak parents flip out on their kids and tell them they have to wait to have sex or they're going to hell or they'll get pregnant it just makes them want to do it more. and most kids ARE smart enough to use protection anyway. okay, im done now. thanks for listening.<3
