STATEMENT

There is no Art indeed, only the artists (1). People sought for ways to express what is not barely seen around themselves, including the world inside them, inside their whole existence. They wrote words, they composed sounds, they drew lines, only to leave something behind.

CAT PORTRAITS

Cats and places they prefer to live have always interested me photographically. They always find the most critical spot to stop, sit and glance at the camera. This was one of my initial works for cat portraits.

THE MAN RUNNING AWAY

Whether to ask for a pose or making the shot secretly was a very early question for me to face as a beginner. The man turned back and walked away, despite my aim was to shoot the shiny walk-way after the short rain with him. So he included himself to the shot, which could not be better. Some moments can never be recreated.

MUSIC OF KAZIM KOYUNCU

Musical notes of Black Sea should neither be avoided nor underestimated, although there is a massive attack of popular music towards people's minds in the last decade. This music carries the wild but mild winds of the Black Sea shores, hitting the hearts suddenly after the small touches for a very short time.
