Debate in Malaysia,Are We Mature Enough?

Why people in Malaysia afraid to involve in debate?If we have true ideas or confident in our stand,let's face the truth and learn to listen to everyone's opinion.But what I see in my country,when somebody called for debate,millions of reason sometimes surfaced to avoid the debate.I think it is time to have a debate on any issue and hopefully nobody can label it as sensitive or hyper sensitive.While we can have a debate for students from secondary school up until the university level,why we cant have a debate among politician.Dont they work for us(taxpayers)? .

Because ultimately, those so-called politicians don't really have the qualification to be a representative of the people. I know a 'Datuk' who's an MP and he don't even know how to speak English! How'd you expect him to debate? They're the ones who stuff money in their pockets and expect the people to just go along with them.

agree,they just been elected becoz they are happened to be in this particular party and happen to be close to someone and then the sumone pick him up as a representative and people elected him bcoz of the loyalty to the party..thats all..
