Hey pure bloggers,
My name is Arob and I dig up old dumps - century old dumps where there isnt much remaining except some metals and glass - century old glass bottles with the names of the products and businesses embossed on their slug plates
I see on my website traffic report that people come to my blog from this site, and yet I'd never seen it or been here before... well Im here now and i like what i see.

I write a blog called Dumpdiggers which most folks find pretty interesting because it's kind of a modern day treasure hunting exercise, and the subject of more than one TV show these days. I'm kind of an old school scavenger / picker myself and a veteran Dumpdigger, and so now I try my best to report the history and be true to the future generations who may or may not actually use my blog as some sort of archeological record .

How fabulous! Love this sort of thing. Old bottles would fall out of the high woodland bank behind my gran's house when I was a kid, and years later an odd mound in the corner of my ponies field hid quite a few odd looking bottles. I too came over to PureBloggers, curious why they were appearing in my states, (on odd days..no more than that) as all I make is cards and all I sell are digital drawings. Happy Bottle Hunting!
Great hobby and passion. I also look for treasures in second hand stores. Like wooden bowls and copper bowls or cups. I give them away.
