Is anyone else having trouble importing a blog from blogger to this site?

Hi, I have been a member for a short while but I have been trying for days to import my blog to this web site but every time I upload the xml file from my computer I get a message stating that 'the uploaded file is not a valid file' I have a blog with blogger.com with almost 200 post and would love to share it with others here on this site. Can someone give me some sort of assistance with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi CP I suggest you copy & paste the the page link then add it to the link icon on the status update, wait till your blog post appears and add some words to describe it as your status then post it up, this should be the answer. If its not this I suggest you inbox the site admin to clear this problem up.

Damn that is slow going for almost 200 posts. I can't get mine to import the way it is supposed to either.

Hey pilot, do you have an imported template or a basic one? Mine is an imported template and I am wondering if I switch it to a standard one if it may import. But if yours in standard I would rather not fuck with the template as it took me forever to get this one working for me.

Hey Jamie,thanks for your reply. My template is a standard template from blogger and even with that I can't get my blog to import to this site. What is even more frustrating is that when I write to this sites admin about the problem I don't get any reply from them either. I download the xml export file from blogger to my desk top, then I go to blogs here and import my file to this site. When it's done looking like its doing something, it ends by telling me that the file I have uploaded is invalid. I have tried renaming the file to that of my blogs title and nothing changes. I have done this numerous times on different days to no avail.

Yes, same issue I am having. Admins on this site are terrible for replying. I DID actually say that to an admin when they asked why I would not advertise this site. Still waiting for a reply.... that was about two weeks ago.

I just wrote them a message stating that at least acknowledgement of the issue would be nice, and perhaps guidance if they could. It pisses me off because the members on this site are great, but it will die for shitty admin.
